Even though my ethnic background is not Italian I can make a bruschetta that will knock your socks off! Trust me, this recipe is the best!
1 loaf of Pane Turano Bread (Available at Aldi)
1 stick unsalted butter
8 tbsp. olive oil
4 tomatoes
2 fresh cloves garlic
1 tbsp. Regular Balsamic Vinegar
salt/pepper to taste
Fresh parmesan cheese
Fresh chopped basil
Specially Selected Balsamic Vinegar Glaze (Available at Aldi)
First melt butter and 6 tbsp of olive oil on medium heat. Take 4 slices of bread and cut them in half horizontally. Next fry bread on medium/low heat until nice and golden brown on both sides. Remove bread and place on plate. Now dice the tomatoes and remove seeds. Place in bowl with 2 cloves chopped garlic, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp regular balsamic Vinegar, salt and pepper to taste and mix. Finally, add the tomato mixture to the fried bread, top with fresh shredded parmesan cheese, basil and lastly drizzle with Specially Selected Balsamic Vinegar Glaze. Now take a bite and get ready to fall in love!
